It is spring in Iceland. The weather is much like early spring in Minnesota. Our first days have been sunny and cool with highs in the 40s. Perfect weather for a wool sweater or jacket while exploring Reykjavik.
On Sunday we went to Hallgremskirja for worship in Icelandic. The acoustics made the 15-member choir sound like a much bigger choir. It is easy to imagine the hosts of heaven singing while you listen.
Mary Logue and I have been checking out the galleries, book stores and knitting shops. We definitely have a favorite bakery/restaurant. I was delighted by these Barbies in a gallery window.
